Twenty years in management and operations taught me the thing most AI advice is missing. The hard part was never the technology. It was knowing which problem was worth the money, what good actually looked like, and whether the people would ever run the thing once it existed.
Two and a half years ago I had no technical background at all, I'd never built or designed a technical system in my life. Today I advise Australian businesses on AI strategy, implementation, change management and governance through Syntriq AI, the agency I co-founded, and I train people with no technical background to do the same.
